Bizarre “Tackle” In New York State Goes Viral
There was a rather bizarre incident caught on live television this week as a member of the Guardian Angeles was being interviewed in New York City. The moment is getting plenty of attention and the video has gone viral.
The Guardian Angeles are a group of citizens dedicated to fighting crime without being armed. You can see them walking the city streets in many of the larger cities around New York State. The goal is to keep the peace.
They are trained in first aid, CPR, law, conflict resolution, communication, and basic martial arts. Members are paired up and follow the directions of a patrol leader. If their own or other citizens' lives or health are endangered, they are allowed to do whatever is lawful and necessary.
As Guardian Angels leader Curtis Sliwa spoke live with Sean Hannity on Fox News Tuesday night from 42nd Street and 7th Avenue in New York City, other members of the group could be seen behind Sliwa surrounding a man and throwing him to the pavement.
There is still an investigation happening surrounding what exactly happened and led up to this moment.
As we get closer to the next Presidential Election, the debate about legal versus illegal immigration and what to do with the border is getting hotter and hotter. New York City seems to be at a critical limit and officials are working with state and federal officials to change border and immigration policies.
