Now that most of us are back at work this week, how was your weekend? Did you have fun on Saturday and Sunday? If so, that answers the question in the headline, Sunday is the end of the week.

This question has been an ongoing debate between my wife Elizabeth and I. She says that Sunday is the start of the week. It is the first date on most calendars, it is the day we rest to get ready for the work week, and it just makes sense.

I argue that Sunday is the last day of the week. If I ask, like I did "How was your Weekend?" you mostly likely tell me what you did Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday.

Also if you want to go biblical, God rested on the seventh day, which means he rested when his work was done, at the end....the end of the week. Even according to it's Wikipedia page, Sunday is part of the weekend. The word "end" is right there in the name!
