Hurricane Beryl has made landfall in Texas but later this week it will have an impact on the weather here in New York.

Beryl was a Category 1 Hurricane when it reached the East Coast of Texas but as it moves across the mid-west and into New York it will be downgraded to a Tropical Storm.

The good news is that the rain should be out of the area by late Wednesday evening and the sunshine should be back across New York on Thursday.

According to the long-range forecast, we are looking at mostly sunny skies this weekend with temperatures in the low 80s.
