Here it is, National Shoe Week!  Really, a week to celebrate all of our wonderful, stylish, just have to have those shoes!  Whether you're more basic with just a few pairs of shoes, or you go all out and have one for every outfit... most women love their shoes.  I think I have about two dozen pairs of shoes, give or take a few.  How about you?

I'm big on sneakers.  I generally have one truly athletic pair, and then lots of cute little stylish pairs in different colors.  All inexpensive, usually Converse all star brands... you know the imitation Chuck Taylor kind.

I also have plenty of sandals and flip flops.  Jenna and I can share shoes now.  So, I buy a few staples in the Spring and then borrow from her when I need something to match a specific outfit.  Again, I try to keep the prices down here.  Sandals go in and out of style so much, I think it's best not to pay too much!

I admit, I am not too stylish when it comes to work shoes.  I love low heels, shoes I can slip-on...  strictly for comfort!  With my back problems, that's really the best way to go if I want to keep on moving  throughout the day.  Just a couple pairs of these, maybe in basic black and brown!

I will pay a bit more for heels.  I figure basic styles don't change so drastically, so it's worth to spend the money, especially if you're wearing them with an expensive dress.  There also usually a bit more comfortable.   These, I usually keep forever... ha!

Then, of course, boots.  I still have the cowboy boots my mom bought me in high school and they fit.  I don't wear them much these days, but just can't seem to say good-bye to them.  Other than that and a few other old pairs of boots, I've got a pair of mud-ruckers for my dad's cabin and a furry suede pair of winter boots to round out my collection.

In all,  I would estimate, I have about 2 dozen pairs of shoes.  We had callers on this mornings shoe who own anywhere between 141 and 250 pairs of shoes!  We even had one woman call in who has a daughter that belongs to the "Shoe of the Month Club."  What about you?
