Lots of things are happening across the 716 on your Tuesday.

1 –We have another nice day on tap today across the 716. We are looking for mostly sunny skies with a high near 84 and tonight the skies should be clear enough for you to see something special. Tonight, there will be a Harvest Supermoon which is one of the biggest moons you can see in the sky. The full moon should be the brightest around 10:34 tonight. Also, there will be a partial lunar eclipse tonight. Only 8% of the moon will be covered, but if you want to see it, the maximum coverage will be around 10:44 tonight.

5 –I saw several photos from Grand Island of the Northern Lights last night, and tonight you will have another chance to see them. The skies should be clear enough to catch a peek at the Aurora Borealis. The lights might be too faint to see with the naked eye, but you should be able to see them with the camera on your phone. The best time to view the Northern Lights will be between 10:30 pm and 3 am./
