Good-Bye Guitar Hero?

Have we seen the last of Guitar Hero?  Quite possibly, the popular game has seen its' last edition...   

HollywoodReporter.com reports Activision is doing away with its "Guitar Hero" franchise. The game-making company has announcedit plans to shutter the "Guitar Hero" business unit, adding, that it will, quote, "discontinue development on its 'Guitar Hero' game for 2011."  The company cited "declines in the music genre" as its reason for ceasing operations on the once-popular game.  Activision first introduced "Guitar Hero" to the market in 2005.  

So sorry to see this one go!  My whole family has had so much fun playing guitar hero together!
