Furry Fingernails Is a Thing [PHOTO]

Every comment I saw following this post was "No. NO NO NO."

Apparently, the latest "trend" (I use that term lightly) is furry fingernails.  To quote Lauren Hall from News 4 Wake Up, "I can't even."

I don't know HOW this started, but it was first spotted at the Libertine fashion show .

I can't think of many benefits of this.....but I'll try...

• Fingertip warmth in the winter
• Soft face caresses
• Tickling one's own earlobes

Ok NONE of those things work.  How about the negatives.....

• Sharing nachos (or other shareable treat) with the person wearing them
• Getting hair in your mouth while trying to take hair out of your mouth
• Getting hair in your eye while trying to take hair out of your eye
• Looking ridiculous
• Looking like Teen Wolf
• Looking like you've lost your mind
• Having to get a "fill" is more like a "trim"
