Food2Families 2014 Recap [PHOTOS]

As usual, Western New York came out in droves to show support and BuffaLOVE during the annual Food2Families campaign for the Food Bank of WNY!

Keith Kelly and I broadcast from the Tops Markets at French/Transit in Depew, and people were actually WAITING IN LINE, just to donate!!! How great is that!!!

As of press time, we are on target for a RECORD-BREAKING event, in both cash and food collection!  As the final numbers continue to be tallied, we expect to surpass last year's record of over $166,000 in cash alone.

Add to that four packed trailers still being weighed in, we will DEFINITELY surpass 2012's standing record of 123,841 POUNDS of food!

More importantly, the combined food and cash raised allows the Food Bank of WNY to provide over 1 million meals to those in need, in Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, and Niagara Counties!

Thank you, WNY, for stepping up to the plate time and time again to help others, not just at the holiday season, but all year long!
