First Photos Of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords Released

Just over five months after Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was shot and critically wounded we got our first glimpse of the Arizona congresswoman via her Facebook page Sunday. Her office posted photos of Giffords taken last month.

Taken May 17, the photos show how far the injured Democratic lawmaker has come since she was shot in the head last January.

The photos were posted as Giffords might soon be released from the rehabilitation hospital. More from Yahoo.
