Father Dives Into 10 ft. of Sewage and Rescues Son

A father from Albuquerque dove into into 10-feet of sewage to rescue his 5-year-old son after he fell into an uncovered manhole in a construction zone.

According to the father, Bob Anderson, it was dark and he and his family were on an evening walk, and apparently the manhole cover had been moved. His son was running ahead of the familiy when he fell into the hole. Dad immediately, without hesitation, followed his son into the disgusting pool and his wife then helped pull them both back above ground.

According to Anderson, his five year old is fine now however, the father, however has been to the emergency room “a couple of times from some kind of bacteria.”
