Niagara Falls police are looking for a "bathtub ring", a "dirty bunch" that stole 34 bathtubs from a local Days Inn renovation project.

John Marantz, General Manager of Niagara Metals, says these tubs are considered 'valuable' right now.

"Cast iron scrap right now across the scale, we're paying in the neighborhood of $300 a net ton. That's about 15 cents a pound," he said.

Police are hoping to 'clean up' the bathtub mess quickly. Officials say there are surveillance cameras and are looking at them to see if there is anything they can use to identify the suspects.

If you have a 'tub tip' the Niagara Falls Police can be reached at (716)-286-4553.
