Most of the state is at peak or near peak levels of fall foliage and the colors are truly stunning across the state.

Much of central New York and the Niagara region are near peak and will most likely hit peak colors next week.
The fall foliage in New York State usually starts in the middle of September and lasts until the middle of November.
That means we will still have a couple more weeks of wonderful colors across the state before many of the leaves fall off and leave us with bare branches.
