If you love the red, yellows, and orange of Fall, this will be the best weekend to do some leaf peeking across New York State.

Most of the state is at peak or near peak levels of fall foliage and the colors are truly stunning across the state.

According to this map, the best places to see the colorful leaves of Autumn is going to be in Western New York and the Eastern part of the state.

Much of central New York and the Niagara region are near peak and will most likely hit peak colors next week.

The fall foliage in New York State usually starts in the middle of September and lasts until the middle of November.
