We all have beautiful dresses hanging in our closets that we may have worn for a special occasion like a prom or as a bridesmaid.  Now though, they are collecting dust!  Why not donate them to the "Prom Dress Drive!"

Erie County Legislator Lynne Dixon has come up with an idea to help make every young girl who hopes to go to her prom this year, have a beautiful dress to wear.  It's called the "Prom Dress Drive" and this is Dixon's second year collecting dresses for young ladies to wear on that memorable night.  Last year's drive was a huge success, with 400 dresses donated.  This year she's hoping for another great response.  You can donate your dress through Friday April 8th at the Boston Library, Hamburg Library, North Collins Library or Lakeshore Library.  For other locations and information on how to take advantage of the drive if you need a dress check out Lynne's website.
