President Donald Trump’s Birthday Could Become New Holiday
A new proposed federal holiday could mean you would get an extra day off from work and school.
We all love extra days off especially when you still get paid for them. As of right now, there are 12 Federal Holidays. These include New Year's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Christmas Day. Click HERE to see a list of all of them.
We might get lucky and add a 13th Federal Holiday this year if one New York lawmaker gets her way.
Congresswoman Claudia Tenney has put forth a new resolution that would make current President Donald Trump's birthday a Federal Holiday.
Trump's birthday is on June 14th, which is also known as Flag Day, but since Flag Day is not a designated Federal Holiday most people still have to work on that day.

If this resolution is passed and Trump's birthday is declared a Federal holiday, all federal employees will get the day off. Most places like banks and the US post office would be closed, and many companies would also give their employees the day off like they do for New Year's and Christmas Day.
In her reasoning for trying to make Donald Trump's birthday a Federal Holiday, she said that Trump is the only President in recent history who has returned America to its Golden Age.
