Hollywood Star Buys Home In Buffalo, New York

Get ready to see a famous face a lot more often in Western New York.

Clarence native and Hollywood star Chad Michael Murray recently purchased a new home in Western New York

The One Tree Hill alum told Interview Magazine that he and his family bought a house back in Buffalo where he was born and raised.

"We just got a house in my hometown of Buffalo and we’re moving in. I’m excited," Murray, 43, said when asked about his holiday plans. "I go full Clark Griswold, and so I’ve got some plans ready for the kids."

Murray who attended Clarence High School left Western New York in 1999 to head to Hollywood to become a model and actor.

He starred in One Tree Hill as well as played roles in Dawson's Creek, Gilmore Girls, and Riverdale.

He has starred in several movies and has been a staple in the Christmas movie genre as well.

Last year Murray surprised the graduation class at Clarence High School when he dropped in during their graduation ceremony.
