This Saturday, you can clear out your garage and kitchen of all those extra bottles and cans from Memorial Day weekend parties and help make a wish come true through Make-A-Wish Western New York. The 6th Annual Can and Bottle Drive takes place on Saturday in West Seneca.

Can and Bottle Drive To Benefit Make-a-Wish Western New York

This Saturday, you can stop by Shell-Fab in West Seneca and drop off your cans and bottles, with all the proceeds benefiting Make-A-Wish Western New York. You can make your donation anytime between 9 am and 3 pm at Shell-Fab in West Seneca. You don't even have to get out of your car; volunteers will come to you and grab your donations.

The average cost to make a wish happen through Make-A-Wish Western New York is around $10,000. This drive helps make those wishes come true.

Tony Mastrangelo and his family created the donation drive after they experienced a personal tragedy in their lives.

On Christmas Eve 2020 my beautiful wife Sydney had a miscarriage at 13 weeks. We were shocked, devastated and depressed. It was the worst time of our life. For weeks we were not ourselves. In the Spring during a meeting I found out about the Wish Hero campaign for Make A Wish.

All refundable bottles and cans will be accepted as part of the fundraiser.

You can also make monetary donations during the event and donate anytime online HERE.
