Buffalo Sabres Unveiling Iconic New Street Name
The Buffalo Sabres kick off their season later tonight and before the puck drops they will unveil an iconic new street name.
As part of their pre-game Party in the Plaza, the Buffalo Sabres and along with the City of Buffalo officials will reveal a new trailblazer sign to honor the late Rick Jeanneret.
Part of Perry Street near KeyBank Center will be renamed "RJ Way". Rick Jeanneret who passed away last year in August had been part of the Buffalo Sabres organization since 1971.
