Buffalo Sabres And ECMC Coming Together For Fundraiser
Buffalo's Pro hockey team is getting together with the only Level One Trauma Center in Western New York for a fun fundraiser to wrap up 2023.
The Buffalo Sabres announced that they will team up with the Erie County Medical Center for a 50/50 raffle before the the Sabres play host to the Boston Bruins on December 27th.
The money raised during the 50/50 raffle will be used for several different programs at ECMC sponsored by the ECMC Foundation.

Some of those programs include:
Free healthcare programs, wellness seminars, and community outreach programs in the City of Buffalo and Western New York.
The ECMC Foundation's mobile mammography screening program travels to off-site locations and offers free walk-on screenings for women, regardless of their insurance status.
The ECMC Foundation's summer youth healthcare internship program provides high school students the opportunity to explore careers in medical fields and the health sciences while receiving mentoring from healthcare professionals in a hospital setting.
The ECMC Foundation also supports hospital staff training programs and employee education seminars.
The ECMC Foundation provides financial and administrative support for capital improvements at ECMC, including the new state-of-the-art KeyBank Trauma and Emergency Department.
If you like to buy a 50/50 ticket to support the ECMC Foundation, you can purchase your ticket now through the drawing of the lucky number. According to the Buffalo Sabre's website, the drawing for the 50/50 usually happens sometime during the 3rd period of the game
The current pot total of the ECMC Foundation 50/50 raffle is $50,000.
