Buffalo Sabres Will Wear “Goat Head” Jersey Several Times This Season

The Buffalo Sabres are gearing up for the new season and the team recently announced that they will be holding several "Black and Red" nights where the team will wear their retro "Goat Head" jerseys.

The Buffalo Sabres are known for their iconic Blue and Gold jerseys but for the 1996-97 season, they made a big change.

First, the team moved the "The Aud" to their new arena now known as KeyBank Center and they dropped their blue and gold look for black and red.




The Sabres are set to kick off their preseason on September 24th against Washington and the regular season will start on October 10th. The Sabres open the regular season at home against the New York Rangers.
