It is now official the Buffalo Bills will be packing up their gear and getting ready for a trip down the I-90 heading towards Rochester this summer.

The Bills are planning on returning to St. John Fisher college this summer for training camp. Since 2020 and the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Bills have held their training camp on-site at High Mark Stadium in Orchard Park.

The Buffalo Bills had held their training camp in Rochester at St. John Fisher college since 2000. The original contract between the Bills and the college expired last summer and both sides have now agreed to a one-year deal to hold camp this Summer at the college.

The Bills spent a significant amount of upgrading the facilities over the years and the center was renamed after the former owner of the Buffalo Bills, Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. in 2016.

Prior to moving to St. John Fisher college in 2000, the Buffalo Bills held their training camp south of Buffalo at SUNY Fredonia.

According to both head coach Sean McDermott and Bills general manager Brandon Beane prefer to have the Bills training camp in Rochester.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott and General Manager Brandon Beane have both been big proponents of taking the team away to camp . Sources tell Buffalo Plus that the Bills management team has expressed that same feeling now and wants to renew the experience.

Several veteran players expressed their desire to keep training camp in Orchard Park last season citing that it was easier for them to stay in their homes instead of dorms.

No official date has been set for training camp but it would most likely take place towards the end of July.
