Sunday's game was more than just a big win for the Buffalo Bills. Several Bills rookies made an impact and were able to pull off some memorable firsts on the day.

Bills rookie running back James Cook scored his first-ever NFL rushing touchdown. Cook was a second-round draft pick by the Bills and has played sparingly so far this season. Coming into the game, Cook only had 13 rushing attempts for 58 yards in the first four games.
Bills rookie wide receiver Khalil Shakir also scored for the first time in the NFL. Shakir hauled in a 24-yard pass from Josh Allen for his first NFL career touchdown. Shakir was a 5th-round draft pick by the Bills this past April.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Bills' first-round draft pick this past April has his first career interception. Kaiir Elam has stepped in as a starter as the Bills were without All-Pro Tre White and fellow rookie Christian Benford due to injuries. Elam has been playing really well this season giving up less than 20 yards receiving in the past two games. Elam intercepted Steeler rookie Kenny Pickett just before the end of the first half.
The Bills will need those rookies to step up again next week as they head on the road to take on their biggest AFC rival the Kansas City Chiefs next Sunday.
The Bills will head into that game feeling good about both their offense and defense. Both units played well in the game against the Steelers.
