The Buffalo Bandits have been making history this year in the National Lacrosse League.

Earlier this month, it was announced that the Bandits set a new record for the average attendance for the season. They average over 18,000 fans at their home games at KeyBank Center, which shattered the old record.

Well, they set a new record this past Friday as well.

Buffalo Bandits Set New Playoff Record

When you get into the playoffs, the mentality is "Just Win." Whether you win by 1 or by 15, as long as you win and move on, that is the goal.

The Bandits did win on Friday, beating San Diego 5-4 in the lowest-scoring playoff game in NLL history. Again, it doesn't matter how you win as long as you win.

Buffalo Bandits Move On To The NLL Semi-Finals

With the win on Friday, the Bandits continue their quest for a Three-Peat when it comes to the NLL Championship. They are now in the semi-finals and will host the Vancouver Warriors this Friday in Game 1.

The semi-finals are a best-of-three series. Game two will be in Vancouver, and if needed, game 3 will be back in Buffalo.

The winners of the two semi-final games will go against each other in the NLL finals. The finals are expected to be played starting on May 15th.
