The Buffalo Bandits Shatter New NLL Record
The Buffalo Bandits are gearing up for the NLL playoffs this weekend and are looking to three-peat as champions.
They have claimed home-field advantage for the playoffs, and that is going to be a huge benefit for the team, as they shattered a new NLL attendance record this year.
Buffalo Bandits Shatter NLL Record
The Buffalo Bandits averaged just over 18,000 people per home game, which was the highest average attendance in NLL history. In fact the lowest attended game at KeyBank Center was still more than the highest attendance for any other NLL team this season.
Buffalo Had More People At Their Games Than Several Other Pro Teams
Setting a new attendance record for the NLL is one thing, but the Bandits' average attendance this year was more than several other teams in pro sports. On average, the Bandits drew more people this season to a game than Major League Baseball teams, the Chicago White Sox, Tampa Bay Rays, Miami Marlins, and the Oakland A's drew last year. The Bandits also out-averaged 17 NHL teams this season, including the Buffalo Sabres, who only drew just over 13,000 people per game.

NLL Playoff Schedule
The Bandits are looking to become the NLL champs again as it starts this weekend at KeyBank Center as the Bandits host the San Diego Gulls on Friday night. If the Bandits win, they would move to the Best of 3 Semi-final series starting the first weekend of May, and if they make it back to the Championship best of three series would be played May 15th-18th and May 22nd-25th if needed.
