After a week where some areas in Western New York got over a foot of snow blasted with 50 miles per hours winds, and sub-zero wind chills, another blast of cold weather is coming through the region later this week.
Possible Record Cold Coming To Western New York
Tuesday was cold in Western New York but we will see a bit of a warmup today and Thursday before the bottom drops out again. Today we could see the temperatures hit above freezing for the first time this week, but it won't last long. We are looking at a high of 33 for Wednesday, before we drop back into the 20s on Thursday, and then it gets really cold heading into the weekend.

Friday's high is only going to be near 14, and Saturday it will be even colder with a high of 8 and a low of -1. This will be when we could see some records set in Western New York. The current record for January 24 and 25 is 1 and 5 degrees. While we might not get there, it will still be very cold.
More Snow Coming To Western New York
Snow will continue today, tomorrow, and into the weekend. We could see some sunshine on Saturday with scattered flurries and possibly no snow at all on Sunday. We are still very deep in Winter here in Western New York.
