We've all heard many times that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. There is a national program afoot to bring breakfast to students in the classroom.

"Breakfast In the Classroom" is now serving 75 school districts across 26 states.

It's part of an effort to move school breakfast programs from the cafeteria into the classroom, so more students start their day with a nutritious boost.

Research shows that having breakfast can make a significant difference in a child's ability to learn.

Research also says...

"School breakfast can actually help improve academic achievement," according to Crystal Fitzsimmons, with the Food Research and Action Center. "It's linked to higher test scores. It's linked to kids being able to focus and concentrate and behave in the classroom."

English and an Egg McMuffin. Kinda has a ring to it
