It was the first time it happened in 28 years, and the Buffalo Bills have done it: they brought us a home win for Monday Night Football.

The last time that happened was back in 1994, so a lot of years have passed since then and the Bills Mafia has been eagerly waiting for that W.

Back then, Josh Allen wasn’t born yet and gas was $1.14/gallon.

Life was pretty different back then, and we’re glad the Bills ended that streak.

However, the Tennessee Titans knew of this history, and they figured that the Monday night game at Highmark Stadium would be an easy win.

Obviously it wasn’t. The Bills won 41-7, and the Tennessee fan base was not happy at all.

Some of the Tennessee fans started absolutely losing it on social media and freaking out on their families, which is something that the Bills Mafia can relate to.

We’ve lived through wide right, 13 seconds – you name it. So we get the frustrations.

But it is a little comical when the Tennessee fans get all worked up how some of us used to.

Jimmy Chen drove 12 hours for the game with his son, and he was furious with the loss.

“I’m literally shaking with rage & just spit on an usher on the way out,” Chen wrote on Twitter. “Timmy is screaming for his mother 4 states away. God I hate this team.”

Chen wasn’t the only fan frustrated. There were several tweets like this, but there was one that really stuck out.

One guy named Nick shared a photo on Twitter of his broken television explaining what led to the break.

“Just smashed my TV in front of 30 guests at my son’s birthday party because of the Titans.” Nick wrote on Twitter. “My wife just took our crying kids and said they’re all spending the week at her mom’s house. This team has ruined my marriage. I can’t handle this anymore. Goodbye, I am no longer a fan.”

OK, Nick. I realize it sucks right now, but if you’re that quick to jump off the bandwagon, then you’re probably a fake fan.

The Buffalo Bills have been around since 1959, and we still don’t have a Super Bowl Championship under our belt. That’s all going to change this year, so the key is to be patient. You can rage and break TVs all you want, but you never give up on your team.

Sincerely, the best fanbase in America…
