“Big Money” Powerball Winning Streak Continues In New York

There was another "Big Money" winning Powerball ticket sold in New York State.

The winning streak for "Big Money" winners with the Powerball here in New York State extended to 10 straight drawings.

There has been at least one "Big Money" winning Powerball ticket sold in New York State since February 5th. In that time, there have been a total of 16 "Big Money" winning tickets sold in New York.

Yesterday's winning ticket matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number to win the 3rd place prize of $50,000.

Wednesday's winning Powerball numbers were: 28-48-55-60-62 with a Powerball of 20.

No one claimed the grand prize from Wednesday's Powerball drawing so the jackpot for Saturday's drawing is now up to $272 million dollars.

The Powerball is played every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday night. Tickets will cost you $2 per ticket for a normal ticket, or $3 per ticket for a ticket with the Powerplay.

The Powerplay allows the winning prize amount to be doubled, tripled, quadrupled, or even increased by 5 times based on which Powerplay number is drawn.
