“Big Money” Mega Millions Winners In New York State

The 5th largest Mega Millions jackpot in history had one winner last night.

The New York State Lottery announced that one winning ticket from Friday's Mega Millions drawing was sold in California, but don't throw away those tickets just yet.

There were seven "Big Money" winning tickets sold in New York State from Friday Night's Mega Millions drawing.

Each one of those tickets matched four out of five numbers and also had the Mega Ball and took home the 3rd place prize of $10,000.

One of those tickets also had the Megaplier which was 3x the prize amount so it took home $30,000.

Friday's Winning Mega Millions numbers were: 3-7-37-49-55 with a Megaball of 06.

1. $1.602 Billion Dollars - 8/8/23 - Florida

The largest Mega Millions jackpot ever won in New York State happened back in April of 2023. New York City resident Johnnie Taylor won $476 million dollars.
