$50,000 Mega Millions Winner In New York State

There was one very happy Mega Millions lottery player in New York State after Friday's drawing. The New York State Lottery announced that there was one "Big Money" winner in New York from last night's drawing.

There was one 3rd-place winning Mega Millions ticket sold in New York from last night's drawing. That ticket matched four out of five numbers and also had the Mega Ball number. That ticket won $50,000 based on its built-in Megaplier.

There were also 16 4th-place winning tickets sold from Friday's Mega Millions drawing. These tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Mega Ball number. Those tickets won between $1000 and $5000 each based on each ticket's built-in Megaplier.

On top of all those winners, there were also 32 5th-place winning tickets sold in New York State. Those tickets matched three out of five numbers and also had the Mega Ball number. Those tickets won between $400 and $800 each based on each ticket's built-in Megaplier.

Did Anyone Win Last NIght's Mega Millions Drawing?

While there was no grand prize winner from Friday's Mega Millions drawing, there was one 2nd-place winning ticket sold in Minnesota. That ticket matched all five numbers but missed the Mega Ball and won $3 million dollars.

Since no one claimed the grand prize, the jackpot is now up to $366 million dollars for the next drawing on Tuesday night.
