The Buffalo Bills are kicking off the NFL playoffs today at home at Highmark Stadium.

For the most part, the Bills outperformed the expectations of many "talking heads" who were quick to anoint the New York Jets as the best team in the AFC East.

Not only did the Bills beat the Jets twice this season they went on to win the AFC East by early December.

Over all the Buffalo Bills finished the record season 13-4 and set several new team and league records.

Now that the regular season is over, the Bills are hoping to win the next four games and be crowned Super Bowl Champions. The run to the Super Bowl starts today with a home game against the Denver Broncos, who were the 7th seed in the AFC

The Bills are heavy favorites to win today's game. If/When they do they will host the highest seed in the AFC remaining as they are the overall #2 seed in the AFC.

Most "experts" are predicting that the next round would be against the Baltimore Ravens, who beat the Bills in the regular season. The good news is that the Bills beat the Ravens the last time both teams faced each other in the playoffs.

If things go as the experts plan, the next game for the AFC Championship would be in KC as the Bills would have to travel for the conference championship game. If the Chiefs were to lose prior to the AFC Championship game, it would then be held in Buffalo.
