The Best Burger In New York State
May is "Beef Month" in New York State and to honor the month, the New York State Beef Council has named the "Best Burger" in New York State for 2024.
19 judges tasted and sampled burgers from the Final 10 finalists and crowned one burger the best in the state.

- Brewer Union Cafe, Brewerton, NY

- Chatham Brewery, Chatham, NY
- Danny D's Burgers, Port Jervis, NY
- Rock Burger, Niagra Falls, NY
- Tap It, Bar & Grill, Rochester, NY
After the judging, the winner of the crown of "Best Burger In New York" was Chatham Brewing's burger, "The Loaded Brewery Burger". The burger is made on a toasted sweet roll with a locally raised beef burger, white cheddar Mac n Cheese, applewood bacon, and molasses BBQ.

The "Loaded Brewery Burger" from Chatham Brewing knocked off Ale & Angus who had won the award the past three years.
