Foodies in Western New York will soon have another restaurant to put on their "Must try" list for 2026. Buffalo is one of the cities in New York State they plan to expand to this year.
Popular National Chain Set To Open in Amherst
Fans of the fast food chain Angie's announced they plan on opening a new location, their first, this year in Western New York. They are expected to open in the old Boston Market store on Maple Road in Amherst.
Angie's is known for offering good eats at lower prices. They own the supply chain, so there are no "middlemen" markups. They also have smaller locations with fewer employees, and customers order and pay on their own using kiosks. Customers also pick up their own food and even wipe down their own open tables inside the store.
Angie's offers a wide variety of food and drinks. From burgers and pizzas to lobster rolls and protein bowls, you can find it at Angie's.

This will not only be the first location in Western New York, but also the first location in New York State. The company also announced that it will be opening a location in Binghamton as well.
There was no official opening date set for the Amherst location, but officials with the company are hoping to have it up and running by late fall.
