An Apartment Fire Caused Nearly $40,000 In Damages [VIDEO]

Fire crews were on the scene of an apartment fire near the Cheektowaga border on Sunday night.

A blaze broke out around 11:30P.M. on Beiter Walk, and firefighters rushed into the building in search of an elderly woman, whom they believed was inside. The search came up empty.

The fire was contained to the living room, and no injuries were reported. The cause remains under investigation, but witnesses have given several contradicting reports.

The fire causes around $40,000 worth of damage.
