Today kicks off Amazon Prime Days and shoppers all across New York are getting ready for deals. The giant online retailer will celebrate its 10th anniversary of "Prime Days" today and tomorrow. .

During the two-day special event, Amazon Prime users will be able to score discounts on thousands of items. You will be able to save on name brands like Clinique, Sony, and Peloton. Allbirds, and Kiehl’s.

Something new this year will be invite-only deals. Prime members had to sign up for these deals in advance. According to reports, some of these deals include 40% off Sony wireless headphones, 60% off a Citizen Chronograph Watch, and 58% off a Foreo LUNA mini 3 set.

According to Amazon, users saved billions of dollars during "Prime Days" in 2023.
Amazon customers saved nearly $24 billion from deals and coupons—with Prime members enjoying the vast majority of those savings—including over $2.5 billion during Prime Day 2023.”
Musical artist Megan Thee Stallion helped make the "Prime Day" announcement by releasing a new song and music video.
Students can also get a special deal during "Prime Days". Right now high school and college students aged 18-24 can sign up for Prime Student with a six-month trial, then just pay $7.49 per month or $69 per year.
Amazon Basics will have specials during "Prime Days" with up to 40% off school supplies and dorm staples and Amazon Essentials will offer 40% off on cozy and comfortable crew necks, hoodies, and joggers.
