Above Average Temperatures On Tap For Western New York
After a very chilly start to the week, it looks like Mother Nature is set to bring Summer back to the 716 as we head into the weekend.

It looks like we will have a string of 80-degree or better high temperatures across Western New York.

We might make the 80-degree mark today, the predicted high is around 79, but then on Thursday, the heatwave starts.
Thursday's high is set for 83.
Friday's high is set for 83
Saturday's high is set for 84
Sunday's high is set for 85

There is a slight chance that we could set a record high on Sunday. The current record high for September 15th in Buffalo is 86 which was set in 2018.
Monday and Tuesday are also looking like above-average days as well with high temperatures in the 80s.
Weather.com is calling for temperatures in the 80s for all of next week as well. Their long-range forecast is also calling for the temperatures to start dropping back to more average starting around September 21st.
