$4 Million Dollar Winning Lottery Sold In New York

Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing was VERY lucky for two New York State residents.

The New York State Lottery announced that two 2nd-place winning tickets were sold in New York. Both of those tickets matched all five numbers but missed out on the Mega Ball.

One of those tickets did have the Megaplier which was 4x the prize amount.

The 2nd place prize for the Mega Millions is $1 million dollars, which means one lucky person won $4 million dollars from Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing.

That winning ticket was sold at the Ralph Avenue Liquor store in Brooklyn.

The other $1 million dollar winning Mega Million ticket was sold at The Three Star Candy Store in the Bronx.

Tuesday's winning Mega Millions numbers were: 1-5-7-22-24 with a Megaball of 08.

No one claimed the grand prize, so the jackpot for Friday's Mega Million's drawing is now up $47 million dollars.
