1 Person Dead & 3 Injuries Following Crash In Evans [VIDEO]

The severe weather conditions are to blame for a fatal crash in the Town of Evans on Tuesday.

A Rural Metro ambulance and a tractor trailer collided just off Route 20 around 4:30P.M., sending three people to the hospital and claiming the life of an elderly man.

It's believed that the victim was being transported from the hospital back to his home when the crash occurred.

Route 20 was closed between Eden Evans Center and Sturgeon Point Road for about three hours while crews cleaned up from the crash. The cause remains under investigation.
