Remember your parents saying...When I was a kid we had to walk 25 miles to school (each way). Fast forward forty or so years... The kids of today don't know how good they have it!

Here are some examples:

When I was a kid there was no internet. If we wanted to know something, we had to go to the Library and look it up, ourselves, in the card catalog!

There was no email. We had to write a letter, with a PEN, and then walk it to the mailbox.

There were no mp3's or such thing as Napster or iTunes. You had to wait and tape it off the radio, and the DJ would usually talk over the beginning (ahem).

There was no call waiting, you got a busy signal, no caller ID either, you had to pick up the phone and take your chances...school, parents, GRANDMA!

No Playstation, or Xbox...we had to play outside WITHOUT SUNSCREEN.

And there were NO car safety seats. If Mom threw you in the backseat...you just hung on. If you were lucky you got a "safety arm" across the chest at the last minute when she had to stop suddenly, and if you hit your head on the dashboard, it was your fault for calling "shot gun" in the first place.

I rest my case.
