While places like the Upper Midwest will be below average temperatures and above average snow amounts, here in New York State, the temperatures and snow amounts should be what we expect to be on a historical level.
The forecast is also calling for a La Niña weather pattern to be in place from December to February, which usually means a wetter winter, but if temperatures remain on par with the historical averages, we could see more rain than snow in December and February.
