The snow is set to continue across Western New York this week.

The National Weather Forecast in Buffalo issued another Winter Storm Watch for parts of Western New York starting on Wednesday at 7 pm and lasting until Friday morning at 4 am.

The Winter Storm Watch was issued due to possible heavy lake effect snow with snow accumulations of 7 inches or greater for the affected area.

The Winter Storm Watch is in place for Southern Erie and Wyoming counties. On top of heavy lake-effect snow, wind gusts could reach around 50 miles per hour making travel in the area very difficult. Blowing snow could reduce visibility and cause issues with downed powerlines and down tree branches.
