
Winter Storm Warning Issued For Western New York
It already has been a wild weather week in Western New York and we are going to see more snow before it is all over. The National Weather Service, who prevoiusly issued a Winter Storm Warning for parts of Western New York, has now issued a new Winter Storm Warning for the Northern part of the 716.
Winter Storm Warning Issued For City Of Buffalo And Beyond
The National Weather Service in Buffalo has now issued two different Winter Storm Warnings, one for the Northtowns and one for the Southtowns. There is a Winter Storm Warning for Northern Erie and Genesee Counties starting this afternoon at 1 pm. That warning will go until 1 am tomorrow morning. There could be between 5 and 10 inches of snow in the City of Buffalo, Amherst, Kenmore, and areas north and east of the City.

There is already a Winter Storm warning in place for Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Southern Erie counties. That warning is in place until 1 am on Friday morning. Anywhere between 1 and 2 feet of new snow is possible between today and Friday morning.
Winter Weather Advisory For Northern Western New York
The snow will be widespread across Western New York today. The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Niagara, Orleans, and Monroe counties. That advisory is in place until 1 am tomorrow morning. There could be between 3 and 6 inches of snow today and early tomorrow morning.
