Million Dollar Winning Powerball Ticket Sold In New York
This week was a very lucky week for one Powerball player in New York State.
The New York State Lottery announced that one ticket sold in New York won the 2nd place $1 million dollar prize from Wednesday's Powerball drawing.
That winning ticket matched all five numbers but missed out on the Powerball number. The winning ticket was sold in Queens, New York.
The winning Powerball numbers from Wednesday were 25-40-43-48-50 with the Powerball number of 11.
That wasn't the only "Big Money" winning lottery tickets sold this week in New York. Three $10,000 dollar winning Mega Millions tickets were sold in New York from Tuesday's drawing.
Each one of those tickets matched four out of five numbers and also matched the Mega Ball.
Tuesday's winning Mega Millions numbers were 12-15-32-33-53 with a Mega Number of 24.
The good news, if you are looking for a big payout, is that no one claimed the grand prize jackpots from either game this week.
Tonight's Mega Millions jackpot is up to $187 million dollars, while Saturday Night's Powerball jackpot is up to $77 million.
