The New York State Lottery announced that there were several winning tickets sold in New York from Monday's Powerball drawing.

There was one "Big Money" winner. That ticket matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball to win the 3rd place prize of $50,000.

There were also 11 4th-place winning tickets sold in New York. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Powerball. 9 of those tickets won $100 while two others had the Powerplay and won $300.

There were also 34 5th-place winning tickets sold in New York. Those tickets matched three out of five numbers and also had the Powerball. 29 of those tickets won $100, while 5 of those tickets had the Powerplay and won $300.
