It was a lucky weekend for one New Yorker.

Someone in New York matched all the numbers for Friday's Mega Millions drawing and won the grand prize jackpot of $476 million dollars. The lump sum take-home payoff is around $253 million dollars.

Friday's winning jackpot turns out to be record-breaking in New York as well. The $476 million dollar grand prize is the largest jackpot ever won by a New York Resident.

The old record was $473 million dollars which was won back on January 1st, 2019.

Friday's winning Mega Millions ticket was sold at Liberty Beer & Convenience on Liberty Avenue in Ozone Park in Queens New York.

The winning numbers were 23-27-41-48-51 and the Mega Ball was 22.
