If you have Halloween decorations on your front lawn, you will want to make sure they are tied down because it will get really windy across Western New York today. Wind speeds will be in the 20 and 30 mile per hour range with gusts up to 50 miles per hour.

Wind Advisory In Place For All Of Western New York

The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a wind advisory for all of Western New York. It will be in place starting at 11 am on Friday and last until 5 am on Saturday. Wind speeds could be sustained at 20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts reaching 50 miles per hour.

The peak time for the heaviest wind gusts will be between 2 pm and 9 pm on Friday.


Weekend Weather Outlook For Western New York

Things start to look better weather-wise for Western New York as we head into the weekend. We will see scattered showers on Saturday with a high near 49 and then sunshine is back on Sunday. The weather should be nice for the Bills game at Highmark Stadium. We are looking at a high of 52 with mostly sunny skies.
