It will be a very windy chilly day here in Western New York.

A storm weather front will bring very gusty winds across Western New York leading to the National Weather Service in Buffalo to issue a Windy Advisory for parts of the area.

The Wind Advisory is in place for Niagara, Orleans, Northern Erie, and Genesee counties. It will start at 8 am this morning and last until 10 pm tonight. We could see wind gusts up to 50 miles per hour during the day and that could impact travel around the area.

The nasty weather will continue this week as we will see rain and snow showers across the area tonight and into mid-week. There is a chance of snow for Tuesday and Wednesday and we could get enough to see some stick to the ground. Parts of Western New York could get up to 3 inches of snow by the end of Wednesday night.
