Temperatures will continue to drop as the day goes on and we could see Lake Effect snow spread all across Western New York.
The major issue will be that with the temperatures remaining below freezing the ice that fell across the area yesterday won't melt and snow on top of it could cause some issues with travel, tree limbs, and power lines.
As of this morning, several thousand people are still without power after the ice took down several powerlines in West Seneca and Cheektowaga.
If you have to be out today, use caution when traveling and bundle up because it will be cold.
