Does Uncle Lyle make his famous eggnog every year?  Maybe Grandma buys you the same gift (but you like it) from year to year?  What's your holiday tradition?  Some folks go to midnight mass, others go to the children's mass on Christmas Eve where the kids take on the roles of Mary, Joseph, the shepherds and wise men...  and let's not forget the angels.  (I remember being an angel in a school play once, but that's another story.)  Some share eggnog or another festive drink.  There are those who go in search of Santa either high on a hilltop or online.  Some celebrate by picking out new ornaments each year.  Families and friends get together to bake, or exchange cookies and other holiday delights.  My family attends the 4pm mass and heads home to spend the evening with relatives, roast beef warming in the crock pot, and a few gifts already under the tree.  We always open gifts, Christmas Eve and Christmas morning, one at a time in my house so everyone gets to see what everyone else received...  the fun lasts longer and the kids really seem to appreciate each gift.  So, what's your family tradition?  (You can post your story below!)
