Arctic Chills Returning To Western New York This Week
Today looks like it might end up being the nicest day of the week when it comes to the weather. We are looking at some scattered snow flurries with a high near 25. The temperatures will remain steady in the 20s for the week before they take a sharp drop heading into the weekend.
Arctic Chills Headed To Western New York This Weekend
The long-range forecast for this weekend is calling for a 15-20 degree drop in our high temperature from Friday into Saturday. Another wave of cold arctic air will sweep in from the Northwest and cool us right down on Saturday, and then it will linger into Sunday.
Saturday's high temperature is only expected to get as high as 8 degrees. It will warm up a bit for Sunday, with a high of around 15 degrees. The good news is that it looks like we won't see any new snow over the weekend.

The average daily high for February is around 33 degrees. For the most part, we won't come close to that number until Valentine's Day weekend, and when we hit above freezing, we won't stay there for long. It really won't warm up in Western New York until the end of the month.
