It is coming, snow is in the forecast and it looks like we will get plenty of it across the area.

Looking ahead to this week, a major storm front will be moving through Western New York, and with it will be bitter cold weather along with plenty of snow.
We get a break on Monday and Tuesday but then snow returns on Wednesday and will be in the area for several straight days.
Starting on Wednesday, December 14th, we are going to see a cold front move across Western New York that will be some rain in the early part of the day before turning into snow showers by the afternoon.
Then the snow comes and comes and comes. We will see scattered snow showers all the way through Sunday night. Each day we would see anywhere from an inch or two of snow to possible heavy snowfall in the southtowns and Souther Tier.
With that snow will be cold temperatures as well. The highs will be in the upper 30s on Wednesday and then hold steady in the mid-30s for the rest of the week. The lows will drop down into the lower 20s and upper teens for that stretch as well.
The snow won't end there. While we will get a break or two during the week prior to Christmas, we are expected to see snow showers in the area on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning.
So if you are hoping for a White Christmas, you are in luck.
